1. In the evening, apply a small amount of retinal to the areas you want to treat. If applying to your entire face, spread a thin, even layer over the skin, avoiding the eye area and lips.
2. Follow with a moisturizer to help keep your skin hydrated. If your skin feels irritated, choose a moisturizer with soothing ingredients.
3. The next morning, complete your skincare routine and apply sunscreen as the final step before makeup.

TIP: If you’re new to retinol or retinal, start with every-other-night use for the first two weeks, then gradually increase to nightly use as tolerated. If irritation occurs, reduce the amount and frequency of application.
